Yeshe Sofa Throw
Named for yeshe, wisdom. Wool with enough body to hold a fold rather than slump — the difference between a throw that looks placed and one that looks dropped.
Woven by hand, so no two pieces are identical. Small variations in colour, width and weave are the evidence of the loom, not a fault.

The seam is the signature
Yathra is woven in narrow panels, limited by the width of the loom, then joined by hand to reach full width. Most weavers try to hide that join. We do the opposite: every panel on every piece we make is joined with the same cream cross-stitch, in the same gauge, left visible. It is the quickest way to tell a piece of ours from a machine-made copy.
Priced by loom-days
We price our work by loom-days — the number of days a piece spends on the loom. It is the only measure that reflects what a handwoven textile actually costs to make.
Care
Dry clean, or hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent. Spin for no longer than five minutes, reshape while damp, and dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight.
